The Great Siberian Sushi Run eBook Ken Williams
The transatlantic crossing book by Ken Williams was better than this one because it had more about the boat and the running of the boat than this book. I was looking for more on how the boat handled, the seas, details on the operation of the boat on the journey. Instead there was more on getting internet and e mails than the actual trip. I understand the that Mr. Williams is a computer technician so that is his primary focus. But, I think most people when they buy a book about this kind of adventure want to hear about the boat and not be referred to web sites and blogs to read about the boat while the book pages are full of how the e mail system worked.I knew that this was more computer than boat when it starts off with his statement that there were 62 mechanics on the boat, a relatively new boat, in one day getting it ready with absolutely no explanation! Why? That is something people want to know. What were the issues? And when the question from one e mail reference was asking about the use of fin stabilizers vs a gyro stabilizer it wasn't even acknowledged and the next e mail about some mog synthisizer for frapikating e mails was I knew it would be about the computer and e mails and not the boat.
That said, the book was enjoyable and it was easy to skip over the endless blather of e mails issues and blogs. Not as good as his first book, but still gave some satisfaction for us landlubbers when the need for the sea arises.

The Great Siberian Sushi Run eBook Ken Williams Reviews
This a great book for anyone interested in boating or long distance passage making.
Great book.
Great story, and well written. This is the chronicle of an exceptional trip of 'amateur' voyagers. Ken strikes a nice tone of expertise, yet humble and no preaching. A good read, especially if you have a boating background.
